
Today is the 3rd Day of my detox and usually the hardest. Every detox is a little different. Some are easier than other. There are some where I have to force myself to get through it and yet there are times like this one where it seems like a breeze. I wonder if it is because I am doing this project that makes it easier. The concept of recording myself and blogging. Today I did feel a bit of a metal fog. A little spacey perhaps. You can probably tell by the video. Also I noticed that I was a bit irritable. Not the the point that I was getting angry at anyone. But more of I just want to lay in a tub or hammock or my bed and read and be left alone. I did a Tibetan Bowl Meditation and that calmed it down for a little while. Yet by the end of the night I felt like my skin was beginning to crawl. Yes, Sugar withdrawal is a real thing! So I fell asleep while watching Fed Up. Click here to check out my review of the movie.
In the video I made energy soup. People are always asking me what I eat while Im detoxing. So today I had a couple apples, tea, vitamineral green smoothie, and energy soup. Here is the recipe for original energy soup.
Dr. Ann Wigmore’s Energy Soup
- 1 cups Rejuvelac
- 1 teaspoon dulse flakes
- 1 apples, coarsely chopped
- 1 cup baby greens
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup sunflower sprouts
- 1 avocado
Blend all ingredients (except what you set aside as a topping) in a blender until smooth. Put on optional topping and Eat that day!
