Day 5 of my Detox

Half Way Point! It’s the hump! It’s all down hill from here! Ok the last few days can be challenging, but we can do it! Today I will be giving myself a castor oil pack to address a little bit of bloating. I already did an enema which is helpful in the detox process. Up to now I have only been eating fruit, tea, vitamineral smoothie, and energy soup daily. This has left me feeling full and satisfied. But the point of a detox is not to starve yourself. So below and in the video I have a recipe for some yummy lettuce wraps with fresh salsa. 

Salsa/ Gazpacho

  • 4 roughly chopped tomatoes
  • 1 pepper chopped
  • half a lime or lemon juiced
  • 1 jalapeño
  • 1/2 an onion chopped
  • fresh cilantro to taste
  • 4 garlic cloves pressed

Place all ingredients in the blender or food processor. I like to put the tomatoes on top so the other ingredients get chopped first. Then pulse until you get the desired consistency. You can eat this alone as a gazpacho. Put it over a salad or lettuce wrap.

Inside of a lettuce leaf put chopped cucumber, peppers, avocado, mango. Then top with salsa and sprouts.
