I have been delighted in watching Jator’s videos on Youtube. He has some wonderful insight on mindfulness and discovering our own emotions. I recommend subscribing to his channel and liking him on Facebook. Peeling away the layers has been an important part of my own healing. That health is not just about what I put in my mouth but what is in my mind. And I couldn’t control what I was putting in my mouth and stop stress & emotional eating until I started exploring what was going on in my mind, body, and soul. Which is a constant journey of self discovery. I found that most of the time I wind up having a conversation with my 11 to 13 year old self which is around when my sugar addiction and depression started. It is helpful for me to journal what my younger self is saying. Just writing down the first thing that comes to my mind. Not trying to over think it. And through this method of exploring myself I have found peace with my past.
Before I found this video I had worked with Tracey Ostrand in exploring and healing my younger self. Sometimes I can peel away that layer myself, and sometimes I need the help of a mediator. I believe there are many different paths to healing these parts of ourselves; and I have tried many different paths that have brought me to this one. What path serves your highest good? Follow that one!
The above picture is a from Journey to the Heart by Melody Beattie. I have been reading her daily meditation book everyday. I have been over filled with joy with the universal synchronicities that I experienced while reading this book daily. Whether being something I needed to hear with a current challenge or something I was able to share with a friend in need. Life is fantastic that way!!!
Are you reading this post because of universal synchronicities? I invite you to have conversations with yourself. Heal those past wounds that you have buried. Just remember to be kind to yourself and release any judgements. Because you are exactly where you need to be on your path!
