Dreambook Review

The Rituals For Living Dreambook and Planner

When I am teaching massage and business, i teach my students to make SMARTER goals. SMARTer is an acronym which stands for goals which are Specific, Measurable, Action-Orientated, Realistic, Time-based, Enjoyed, and Reviewed Regularly. That is one of the reasons I really enjoy the dreambook. It helps you explore your values and dreams so you can create SMARTER goals. This is more effective that traditional resolutions.

For me it helped me  create a clear vision for your future. Where do you see your self in 1 year, 3 years, 10 years? It helped me get rid of goals that did not help me create the future I wanted. Put more effective goals in it’s place. For example I wanted to be teaching massage after I had been a massage therapist for 10 years. So I started reaching out to the school I went to school at. Asked what I needed to do to be able to teach. I taught a few one day pre-natal classes for 3 years and when they had an opening they hired me.

I started putting more vacations on my goals. Mine also included home improvement, health, connection with family and friends. Sometimes things don’t happen and that’s OK. Every year in January I explore  if they got accomplished, if I still want them and put them on this year, or if they go in the trash. The key for me is to let go of expectations. Also that this is a life long evolution. There is no destination!

And I have tried many planners and this is my favorite. To save money I bought the PDF and just reprint it every year. If you just want a little taste order the $3 PDF. See if you like the style. I think you will!
