I just got back from my 3rd class from Ace Massage Cupping. I took my first cupping class back in 2008. Cupping is one of my favorite massage technique. In the first class I learned how to preform fire cupping and also how to use the polycarbonate hand pistol that I currently use when I travel to do massage. Using these techniques are great for breaking up fascia restrictions (knots) and scar tissue. It is also helpful for bring circulation to the area which is important aspect of healing. This can be done with friction techniques, skin lifting, and skin rolling however I have found the cups to be more effective and efficient. This is also the class where I learned to use the cups to do lymphatic drainage on the face which helps many clients with sinus congestion.

Back in 2017 inspired to get better results for a client I bought the Vacuum cupping therapy machine and took a class on how to use it. This machine can not only do the massage techniques I was already doing but the pumping motion made doing manual lymphatic drainage so much easier and effective. It was a game changer in the results achieved in massage sessions. Plus it was even easier than the hand pistol on my hands so less chance of injury. The average massage therapist lasts 10 years and I was also at 11 years in 2017 and wanted to keep helping more clients reach their body wellness goals.

So now in 2023 I have taken their 3rd class with goals to take all of their classes and they just added more classes! So in this class I was able to fine tune my skills I learned in previous classes with the owner Anita and also get a better understanding of working with the magnets which I never felt comfortable with. The difference between using the positive or negative magnets. And that it can get me even faster results if used before the cups. I was reminded the importance of working the diaphragm and stomach. She also told me how she sets up her appointments which I want to give a try. Stay tuned for more information on that. Oh and the class was in florida so I took a walk barefoot on the white sand beach.

I canβt wait to reap the benefits of your class π
